Loam is a set-matching strategy game about building healthy soils. You are a plant, who for obvious reasons is into that sort of thing. You also have a lot more power and agency over your environment ...

The people who say stuff like this are the same people whose "jobs" are like "travelling to fake meetings in nice hotels" and "talking to your friends," i.e.: what most people would consider a fun retirement plan.

It's a shame the prequels were so bad cause some of the design and art direction were fire.

You can look at the data like this and see how it's actually fiscally responsible to enact these types of programs, but to the "fiscal responsibility" types, this is still a waste of money because it gives funds to people they consider to be "unworthy." They would rather punish some than help all.
A program in Flint, MI, gave $1,500 to any/all pregnant people and $500/month for the first year of their infant’s life.

Among the benefits, those babies experienced lower rates of prematurity and low birth weight, which resulted in fewer NICU admissions, saving the city of Flint $6.2 million/year.

Fun little project; some rusted out battle droids I 3d printed. I'd love to be optimistic and say I'll use these for a game like Star wars legion, but I literally don't know how to play it lol. They just look neat!

Reese was also all-in on NFTs right before the bubble popped, claiming repeatedly that women needed to get into the NFT space or they'd be left behind because the tech is "here to stay."

All I'm saying is that she is a harbinger of doom for AI.
when Reese Witherspoon says "you can be sad and lament it all you want but the change is here" she's saying people shouldn't be sad their jobs & livelihoods will be taken away from them in order to benefit some of the richest scumbags in Hollywood, & that they shouldn't resist it
