The courage of the people of Minneapolis is awe-inspiring. To face down the pedophile führer's ICE Nazis who are pointing guns at them... Goddammit, these Patriots are heroes. 🙌💪👏✊️👇

I just hope the 45-year-old white men unfairly getting suspicious looks when they drive by in big SUVs leave this experience having learned something important about race in America
This happened to us yesterday. We were following a red sprinter van with confirmed ICE plates that was seen coming from whipple. After about 10 minutes of bizarre driving, he stopped and got out with a sign saying we were profiling him and that he lived in South Minneapolis.

Sharing my average Minneapolis morning:

• Guard duty at grocery store
• Car with ICE plates parked nearby, men in street clothes. They told me they were in town for a concert and had rented the car—maybe true, maybe not.
• Another ICE vehicle screamed down the street trailed by whistles and horns

It’s so hard to describe what this is like to people who aren’t here. The ICE/BCP occupation seeps into everything. It’s not just the horror of the big stuff. It’s the little stuff, too: helicopters all night, vigilance during every trip out of the house, guilt at having any downtime at all.
I've personally had barely any ICE encounters. I've done patrolling when I can. And my body is just yelling at me that it's wrecked.

Even doing a little bit is fucking taxing. Everyone doing more is a superhero, and I don't think folks who haven't been involved in an occupation understand the toll.
