HEY

Did you get elected a delegate for your district at the caucus on Tuesday?

Wondering what the fuck that means?

I have wired IEMs but the cable needs to be replaced (great that that's a feature!) so I have been sticking to wireless stuff, plus it doesn't get caught in anything and everything. I personally think it's well worth having both wired and wireless. Fair to keep off the phone sometimes though!

iPods are great and I have some in the tech collection but I love using Android phones for this kind of thing because you can also use Bluetooth alongside wired. I use a dongle on occasion for my S22 but thinking about purchasing an older S10 in part to have a headphone jack
I found my old iPod and I’ve ordered a PS Vita. It’s all part of experimenting with how I use digital technology in 2026.

On top of my update, find plenty of great reads from the past month in the January recap.

Agreed, and I'm glad many precincts straight up brought out Abolish ICE resolutions. I was just a bit nervous/anxious in the moment and didn't get to say everything I wanted but we still passed resolutions over holding ICE accountable and giving immigrants due process.

Caucus was good but I'm home now with the regret that I didn't straight up say Abolish ICE in my resolution (wasn't fully certain that was within the bounds of a resolution since I had never been to a caucus) but I am glad I got to say we should convict killings done under DHS
February 4, 2026 at 6:59 AM
Didn't straight up say 'Abolish ICE' (regret not doing so) but I brought forth a resolution to convict DHS officials/officers for misconduct and someone else brought up making sure that immigrants have due process

Haven't seen any on the Blue Line recently but I seriously think enforcement should be paused when it gets cold

i think this is a key thing that makes "abolish ICE and undo DHS" good policy in and of itself

these killers are not fresh recruits, they're just existing guys who got the go ahead to be vicious thugs and pounced on the opportunity
Both of the agents responsible for killing Alex Pretti were hired long before the current surge where “training” could be a culprit.

The rot in Border Patrol and DHS at large runs very deep. There has to be a reckoning soon where we look at what we’ve created and how we got here /
BREAKING: The two federal immigration agents who fired on Minneapolis protester Alex Pretti are identified in government records as Border Patrol agent Jesus Ochoa and Customs and Border Protection officer Raymundo Gutierrez.
