I question why we made most American bikes difficult to get on/off, but maybe that's because biking is supposed to be a TOUGH SPORTY ACTIVITY

I did get one recently from a friend actually!!! Though I need to get the tire fixed from a flat (maybe studs too after the snowfall?) The drawback is unlike the one in the photo it is difficult for me getting on/off

Even as someone not physically disabled (I do have asthma which ebikes are fantastic for) this would be a dream for me as someone who seems to not know how to get onto a bicycle
