One citizen said that federal agents in Idaho pointed guns at her children, ages 6 and 8, and dragged her 14-year-old daughter out of a truck and zip-tied her.

The mother told investigators that an agent threatened to “fucking blow your head off.”

So we have two immigrant heroes. One in Australia who helped disarm one of the shooters and one in the US who helped track down the Brown U shooter. When a man stabbed several people in the UK, it was also an immigrant who disarmed him.

Weird that the Far Right keeps vilifying immigrants.

It is the starkest example yet of House Republicans’ attempt to shift focus away from President Trump and onto prominent Democrats.

i don't understand the arguments against more regulations on car speed and driver safety. seems selfish. if 40,000 people were dying from air conditioners falling on them, i'd say, "damn, they should make it harder to drop air conditioners out of your window."

The terror is the point. 'Thoughts and Prayers' is an intentionally bad faith provocation. A frightened, destabilized populace is easier to exploit by those who benefit from war and surveillance and the products of war and surveillance.

If you're wondering what happened to Nate Silver, he was into the COVID lab leak theory and got negative feedback online, including from epidemiologists and virologists and (GASP!) posters, which added to his belief that The Woke are victimizing Nate Silver. It spiraled from there.

I'm not kidding.

They're counting on you to lose track, to be too overwhelmed to remember the gravity of what they're doing.

But we're keeping track of every single strike.

So far: 22 strikes. 87 killed.

This case has never been about one man alone; if the govt can violate the constitutional rights of one, all our rights are threatened.
