I’ve seen Green Day twice. Once at the Boston Hatch Shell riot in 1994 and a second time at a big radio station festival where they played four songs, did a bunch of long stage raps, and trashed their equipment. Somehow their set lasted an hour.

I was reminded of Anton Maiden this morning. He released MIDI covers of Iron Maiden to early file sharing networks. They were like chiptune covers with Anton singing over them. Kid was definitely not a singer but I loved his enthusiasm.
