I know nothing about Stefany Shaheen. And I agree with her stance here. And maybe Angus King's son would make a good governor.
But can we stop making politics a family business, please?

I can't tell you how many interviews I've done where I've been asked: If Trump's policies are so problematic, why are U.S. stocks rising so rapidly.
A bit of international context illustrates the real issue here.
U.S. stocks have dramatically underperformed other advanced economies.

Republicans know they are fighting a war and are willing to offer the American people as casualties. Too many Democrats are still trying to do politics.
You mean everybody will suddenly understand that the party that refused to extend the ACA subsidies to get the 8 votes they needed suddenly got those 8 votes anyway without providing any relief at all to desperate citizens? That's what everybody will understand.
Kaine on why he thinks just getting a vote on healthcare is a win: "We're the minority party, but everybody will get to see who is standing for them when it comes to lowering their healthcare costs"

Even more true today: Democrats are ripe for a base revolt like the GOP in 2015 when Trump went down the escalator.
