fascinating to compare how Wall Street reacts to the possibility that a socialist might have some power somewhere versus how it reacts to the concrete reality of a literal madman tearing down the American-led post-WWII global order

I think there is some information in there that isn't familiar to a lot of people. Including that the US is currently holding three times as many people in immigration detention as were detained in the entire Nazi concentration camp system in spring 1939—six years into the Third Reich.

OMFG, this is real.
Trump sent this letter to PM of Norway and NSC staff forwarded it to multiple European ambassadors in Washington. The letter has been obtained and verified by PBS.

Sandrine's in Harvard Square. Rustic French with Alsatian influences. We loved the big steaming pots of moules marinieres, the flammenkuchen and the house-made charcuterie (traditional charcuterie, not your modern day kind).

Victor Manuel Diaz was kidnapped from Minneapolis. He was my neighbor and he died in an American concentration camp. He was not "illegal," he was a human being made in the image of the divine. May his memory be a blessing, and may the rest of us fight like hell until we stop this brutality.
This is the sixth death in ICE custody in 18 days. This isn’t enforcement, it’s a system that cages people, outsources care, and shrugs when they die. Abolish ICE.

Just got home from seeing "Hamnet". Really enjoyed it, especially the boy who played Hamnet. I miss interesting dramatic films like this and wouldn't care if I saw a
"franchise" movie ever again.

'There’s only one way to stand up to a radical occupation by armed thugs, & the people of Minneapolis are already engaged in it. They are activated & in no mood to back down.
