btw don’t use Bad Bunny’s halftime show to call for Puerto Rico statehood - his album is quite literally AGAINST statehood. maybe listen to his body of work before trying to use it to push for more active colonization of our country.

it doesn’t have all the same pronouns yet, but still ripp saved the day by launching this overnight, so make sure to thank him!

hatred of unhoused people is genuinely a pipeline to fascism. if the wealthy can get you to dehumanize your own neighbors, then they can get you to do it to anyone.

With only 5 Palestinians in need of medical evacuation from Gaza permitted to leave through the Rafah crossing after it reopened on Monday, health authorities warned that the restrictions Israel is continuing to impose at the crossing could ultimately kill thousands of Palestinians.

i have dysgraphia & repeated kindergarten because i couldn’t write letters small enough to fit more than one word on a page.

my wrist cramped up so badly i’d sob from the pain. i had to get an IEP so i could use digital tools in school.

i can draw. so can you.

There's a lot of things you could be doing right now to oppose fascism that doesn't seem heroic and doesn't reach the federal level, but are very much needed. A lot of anti-fascist work doesn't get recognized and a lot of it is a monotonous slog that might not show results.

"We would have lost so much if we'd driven him away" is the justification.

But we lost all those girls. We lost the women they would have become. We lost the work they would have done. Why was his future work so much more valuable than theirs?

It's not just the women and girls we know of. It's all their future work, and everything they could have been, and how we build structures that shelter their abusers. It's how a man's future has always been worth more than my past, present, and future combined.

To our friends and family who love those of us w/psych disorders:

Please please please do not phone the police for a welfare check.

No, there are not proper emergency teams for psych crises. There should be.

The police are armed and trained to meet conflict w/force, not de-escalate.

Please.

People all over Portland, Oregon were impacted by the chemical warfare deployed by the feds tonight. Here’s a thread of some Portlanders experiences who weren’t even at the protest:
Lots and lots of teargas and various other munitions. People yelling for medics. Ambulance came for one person already and there was a brutal arrest amidst all of this

don't mind me, just finding lots of bread crumbs showing Epstein and the League of Pederasts were a driving force in pushing transphobic hate.

This email was sent in October 2014, at the start of the current anti trans political campaign and astroturphing.

I witnessed ICE using tear gas on children.

They shattered a window of low-income housing where a disabled vet lives. He got gassed in his own home.
This was the kind of treatment the union activists got today from Oregon’s largest unions alongside coalitions like @jwjpdx.bsky.social. They fired projectiles and injured many demonstrators and broke out neighbors windows. Gas for a half dozen miles in each direction. #iceout

what impressed me most today was that a huge crowd of people who mostly had never been tear gassed managed to retreat without running or trampling each other. under a cloud of gas that was not moving (zero wind), people held onto each other and walked blind down a street packed tight as sardines
Just got gassed pretty good at the labor union anti-ICE protest in Portland. Massive march, 5-10k strong. Vibes were very much liberal rather than radical. Lots of kids and older folks.

They gassed the whole crowd as soon as it marched on ICE, in broad daylight.
