The thing about depending on government services to live is that the people working in those departments don't actually have to do their job when you call in about issues. They can just say anything at all to you and hang up, and your life goes down the toilet. It's truly wild

my doubts about the efficacy of individual therapy as an intervention on abusive people are validated over and over. this woman has barely been in therapy for a year and she’s so excited to take the new tools she’s been given out for a spin to see how they can be used as mechanisms of coercion.

Pushed myself way too hard the last couple days and my body is fighting back hard with increased pain, extra shitty O2 sats and carbon dioxide buildup, but Nurse River is keeping me company and making sure I rest with breathing support today.
