I honestly don't know how someone can hate reggaeton. Maybe it's bc I was born and raised in so cal but even as a BABY I was shimmying and tapping to it even when it was just a brief strain from the open windows of passing cars. It's catchy! Esp after a few modelos it's universal dance music idc

I never make New Year's resolutions but this year I thought, why not make community building more intentional. And it can be a lot of effort when it doesn't come naturally and you need help. And have mental issues and have to keep track of more and more people. But we do what we can.

Every time I think no one is ever going to listen, I think of going to the food share, or my friend offering to pay for dinner when I lost my wallet and thought it was over, or someone on here gets me something off my wish list, or I see a MA goal met even if it's temporary. I believe in community
I hate to break this to folks who have money. You're gonna have to give what you don't need away. Yes. Let go of the money. There's a lot of people who don't have. We're all we got when states don't take care of us. Yes, to see a better world, you do have to accept not getting rich so all can eat.

I remember he used to send me out of class to sit in the hallway and twiddle my thumbs because I had already finished the book we were reading for class and he took this as a direct challenge to his power. I almost wandered off school property a few times

It turned out the only reason he was even hired was because his family was super influential in school administration and basically got him the job even though he wasn't qualified.
He was a horrible teacher constantly yelling at students esp girls because he had a huge ego and would power trip

I had a third grade teacher who it turned out himself had a language learning disability, yell at me multiple times that I shouldn't correct him in class even though he was teaching kids the wrong spelling of words, bc it was disrespectful and he deserved respect bc he was the teacher god dammit

I was told my entire life I couldn't have autism bc of SBC "extreme male brain" stereotypes and I was a girly girl reading college level at 3rd grade and yet failing math.
They didn't know what to do with me except tell me I was a lazy little shit and acting stupid on purpose. Especially men
