I can‘t W PPL on left acting like Trump's military policies are uniquely bad BC impacting US citizens on US soil… the wilful forgetting of Obama/Biden decimating lives in Yemen, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Somalia and more is part of why this shit keeps happening…

there needs to be a Convo ABT conflict resolution guides telling PPL to use I statements like I feel XYZ and how that intersects W patriarchy/racism/ABLEISM etc where PPL are constantly made to doubt that their feelings reflect reality. To me, using I feel statements feels invalidating BC these EXP

Am I the asshole if I get upset at a friend for offering to help me with something and then not following through? ESP if this happens repeatedly? ESP if it's for stuff I didn't specifically ask them for they reached out and offered knowing I've been struggling?

As long as licensing for therapist requires them to follow CARCERAL rules and gives them the power to lock you up, therapy will never actually be a safe/therapeutic space for many of us.

Action request: please contact your Congress person to demand they and the government shut down with Medicare coverage for telehealth fully restored. Currently those of us who are bedbound and on Medicare are unable to access essential medical care.

ven a lot of fellow disabled folks seem to be confused ABT this: text to speech is not accessible to everyone who can't read print. It is not a substitute for audiobooks read by human narrators for example.

Marginalized folks also want to just do our jobs but have time/energy wasted in having to fight oppression. whenever PPL say this is not rocket science ABT solving social issues… I always respond rocket science is a lot easier then fighting/racism/ABLEISM etc. Just look at rocket science workplaces

She also all that garbage about you can always choose how to respond to a bad situation… as a loss of volition isn't a part of many Neuro divergences
The people who can "choose" to be happy usually have some privilege, denial of reality, or lack of deeper oppression or struggling to be able to do that. To impose the idea that someone is choosing to suffer and have a bad perspective, especially if they're disabled and/or marginalized, is cruel.

It's day 13 of the shutdown and my life-saving medical appointments continue to be cancelled BC Medicare not covering telehealth anymore. Today I found out that Medi-Cal(California Medicaid) which covers telehealth won't do it for patients whose primary insurance is Medicare
