A billion dollars is the socio-political equivalent of a loose nuke, and we should work as ruthlessly and diligently to prevent the acquisition of the former as we do the latter.
People repeating some lazy old bullshit, so let's lay out the reality: Netanyahu is a genocidal monster. Hamas is not a brave band of freedom fighters, they're an Israeli weapon, bought and paid for. Civilians are never an acceptable target in warfare.
