I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

Perhaps for many around the country. But in Minneapolis, the no Kings and melt ICE movements have significant overlap with BLM. Those folk are righteously angry and grieving not pearl clutching over white ladyhood.
A white mother and U.S. citizen being shot and killed is not what they were sold, and it is a breaking point for many.
That does not, in any way, mean the other actions are not also important and indefensible, but it is a line *for those in the movement* that they thought would not be crossed.

For lack of condemnation of a lawless administration's blatant crimes both international and domestic, I call for the resignation of Anita Anand. This statement does not speak for the free people of Canada, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs' response is tacit approval of a fascist's actions.
