imagine being hit on by gross old Larry Summers when you just wanted professional advice and then finding out he was getting advice on how to hit on you from Jeffrey fucking Epstein

one of the grossest things I’ve ever read
The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

Grass fire in rhe field west of cherryvale road and 36 outside #boulder. reported and others had already called it in, saw one engine from Eldorado Springs responding.

This is not a good area, everything looks very dry and brings back memories marshall fire started not too far from this location.

This year, the CFPB brought the fewest cases against big banks and giant companies for cheating consumers in the history of the CFPB.

Trump and his hatchet man Russ Vought are letting grifters and scammers off the hook – and trying to kill the agency that would hold them accountable.

A crossing guard was killed by the driver of a dump truck yesterday. absolutely heartbreaking.
Look at our intersections, look how hostile these are for people/children - this is what we continue to build and defend at all costs. These aren't accidents, these are results. www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...

People are roasting this lede, but NYM is actually correct to print it. Toilet paper is so scarce in prisons that it is sometimes used as a currency.

It shouldn't be restricted, for any person, but the fact that it isn't for her (and her alone) is a sign of extremely special treatment.
Apparently, Ghislaine Maxwell is living it up in prison with unlimited toilet paper. Here’s what we know about her alleged special privileges at her new federal prison camp in Texas.

Do political science profs have to explain to their students that, for most of American history, it was actually borderline unthinkable that elected officials and their spokespersons would constantly talk like trashy reality show contestants?
After calling Schumer a "Palestinian," Leavitt refers to "Gavin Newscum." So she's just ripping off her boss's smears now.

It is funny to me that after using chatgpt to try and set up a series of prompts and answers to show my students potential errors, when I asked chatgpt to calculate how much energy and water it used to do what I asked, it said it couldn't answer that. 😏

How does he think healthcare works in this country for the vast majority of people?

If you pay the people, they still need to buy insurance. Perhaps in a marketplace, so to speak.
Trump: "We want a healthcare system where we pay the money to the people instead of the insurance companies. We're gonna be working on that very hard over the next short period of time. Where the people get the money. We're talking about trillions and trillions of dollars."
