Boulder, bikes, hikes, build walkable neighborhoods
Reuters writes a mere 160 word summary of a Financial Times article, without much substance (in this case, speculation), then offers an “AI” summary of the summary. What are we doing?

I helped this #boulder nonprofit get started on #ColoradoGivesDay platform after the city grant fell through for next year. We’d appreciate even $10-$20 donations if you are giving this month.

Really enjoyed seeing the northern lights in #colorado with the naked eye. Lots of neighbors and strangers out at the nearby lakes to watch.

Donate early to your favorite Colorado nonprofits as we approach #ColoradoGivesDay. Recurring donations are eligible for matching on the first month's amount!

My list includes food pantries (EFAA, Harvest of Hope), housing (Haven Ridge), elder support (Circle of Care), and foster kids (CASA).

The green tomatoes I picked seem to be making progress on ripening. The beefsteak ones were completely green.

One of my least favorite CS classes in college, but the professor was great and there were good lessons that applied even if you didn’t want to do assembly.

Annoying

These are some of Boulder’s affordable senior housing, in a town that stopped allowing buildings this tall soon after they were built. Most places are not affordable and we cannot build any more like this.

The seniors I’ve met who live here like them.

This is one of the most annoying bot replies, where it lies and says there was only one solution left but it knows your guess was valid and didn’t break any rules or anything.

Lovely afternoon with Boulder Circle of Care and start to the Boulder Philharmonic season!

Boulder Circle of Care helps reduce social isolation for our elders (and it’s fun to spend time with them).

The original release “honoring the passing of Kirk” is still up on the governor’s site in case you’re wondering if he changed his tune or just adjusting his messaging to meet platform audience.

(State flags must be flown lower than the US flag so his only wriggle room here is to define why)

It was a simpler time.

Not completely in focus as there was a breeze and it’s hard to get a single-handed phone photo but still cool from my walk today

Hah. The exterior wall was right there when they built this place (the long wall is interior). The neighbors’ is like this too, even for the ones without a laundry sink.

3. Design-wise, it seems what was intended for these three public spaces and what is missing is a continuation of the pathways at the mid block (with appropriate signaling and traffic calming).

Was that considered?
Was shutting both streets to thru traffic and making it one park considered?

the recipe from the cooking class I went to in Thailand is lacking detailed instructions, and is missing the butterfly pea flower for turning the sticky rice blue for that region, but is probably enough to experiment with 😂

Happy bike to work day! Hit up some great stops in Louisville and Boulder. 🚲 💕

Thanks you Paul’s Coffee, PR Labs, Boulder Progressives and other station sponsors for the goodies!

Riding road feels so dreamy compared to gravel paths.

Hike today was pretty but felt harder than usual.

Coming back to altitude (~17% oxygen) is rough after being at sea level and breathing 🤿 nitrox for a couple hours/day (ranged from 32-34%).
