Just a casual lunch in a "fantasy" themed cafe out in Bangkok. Presentation and taste wise A+. Using fire "spells" to melt the chocolate casing or fariyfloss is a simple but fun idea.

I'm finally watching CITY, I knew the animation would be masterful (kyotoani + nichijou author) but by Episode 3 (even in dub) debates over its the best I've ever seen. You need to get around it @foxesforsale.bsky.social @teanewport.com (try e3 first) the ED/ animation budget towards ep 13 get nuts

Before leaving Hannover I did check out lots of big machine tools at EMO. Not as large as previous years but always nice to see so many complex machines on the exhibition floor.

A lovely if wet / foggy day in Vienna. Rode around Weidling, through vineyards, and did the Klosteneuberg / Kahlenberg 2.5km cobbles 300m climb. Descending into the mist is 😬😬😬 though.

Actually found some gravel, pave and hills (kinda) to ride in Hannover before attending a machine tool exhibition. Good ride but I needed a better bike than a app rental 😅

Two immolations
Wout van Aert and Primož Roglič are both tragic heroes of their era in cycling, but the tales of their respective Tours de France ended in very different ways.

I love Tay’s investigation threads. This is a core habit to develop for troubleshooting, and it’s the same one needed by scientists and detectives - revisit the facts and ask:
1. Am I making any assumptions I didn’t realize on previous go-rounds?
2. When I realize I have, how can I validate it?
It's big brain time. I sit there. What are the actual symptoms here. It's a black screen. ...You don't need a screen for Windows to work.

We boot normally. And I go look up their machine name and ping it.

Holy shit it's not bricked. The display driver is just fucked. The machine is fine. Use this.

Descending though... 😬

Today's #TDF2025 watch spot is a yakiniku spot in Taichung. Much more comfortable than the wet roads... Mind you a typhoon is about to hit...

Moral authority and the power of shame are legitimate weapons, and using them - in addition to courts, legislatures, and mass protests - is absolutely essential to winning this fight.
Michael Pham fled Vietnam at the age of 13. He was named bishop of San Diego a month ago.

Today, he stood watch at a courthouse: ICE agents were “standing there covered with masks as we walked toward the courtroom. Eventually the agents scattered and went away”

Historic election landslide result for the centre left in Australian elections. Once again, when you proudly present a progressive platform the electorate responds in droves.

Big swings for independent MPs as well gives a shine to strong independent women Reps.
