I have a lot of friends who are 35-year old men. If any of them had ANYTHING to do with the exploitation of a 17-year old, I'd personally report them to the authorities. How many people watched this, listened to him brag about it, and helped him cover it up? And why tf are they still employed?

My hottest take is kids should be able to vote. Who else is actually looking out for them? If the reasoning is that they don’t have fully developed brains then we are approaching weird territory when it comes to voter rights for people with disabilities.

& keep talking to your teens. Keep hugging your teens (if they like that). Socialize with them, play games with them, welcome their friends. If they feel special with you, they won't seek that elsewhere.
Keep talking to your children, even if you think they're not listening, talk, not screaming or yelling, they are listening. Ages especially thru 10 to 12 years old are super important. The creation of their foundation for the rest of their life.🦋

When I was little I had a speech impediment and a learning disability, but a well funded public school worked with me one on one without putting me in special education, and now I work in an academic job that requires me to do a lot of public speaking. I worry this wont be possible in the future.
