Politics is not like selling biscuits, where the task is to find out what people like & flog it to them.

It's a moral activity. It's about arguing for the things you believe in. It's about *shaping* the "median voter".

Farage has moved the centre-ground of politics. His opponents can move it back.

Labour wants to speak for "ordinary working people". It wants to be the party of patriotism & "national renewal". It badly needs a purpose & a moral mission.

Well here it is.

It is way past time to "speak for Britain" against billionaire-backed movements that want to terrorise ordinary Britons.

The Prime Minister must act with immediate airdrops of much-needed aid into Gaza and get other countries to do the same.

It is simply inhumane that Gaza faces starvation due to Israel’s aid blockade. Words alone won’t save lives.

Look at that - winning candidate gets barely over a fifth of the vote. Five candidates all within 8% of each other. This is happening and under first past the post the result is pure chaos.

interesting to see how much more coverage here we're getting of a chant at a music festival than the IDF being ordered to shoot and murder people in Gaza who are seeking aid!
IDF soldiers have now themselves admitted they have been ordered to murder aid-seekers in Gaza.
