According to my mayor, loser with a nasty cat blanket.

Artist, lawyer, cat rescuer, zinester. Disabled punk lesbian. She/her. Postcrosser. Locked Tomb fan.
It’s November so inktober is over and I’m back to messing around with whatever. Pen and crayon in a sketchbook.

Yesterday’s watercolor is predictably the shoe from an angle I have not previously explored. Watercolor and pen on mysterious paper I probably inherited. #watercolor

not willing to get a little gay with it is so suspicious to me even more now
This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.

The Democratic establishment's ugly reaction to Zohran Mamdani reveals an unpleasant truth.

They would rather lose elections than change.

The addiction to rich donors and consultants is killing the party. But Mamdani shows a path out. An analysis.

"Tzefardea Tzedek" (Frog of Righteousness)

As soon as the Portland Frog became a meme, Jewish social media blew up with jokes about the 2nd Passover plague - tzefarde'a (frogs) - and the Rabbinical commentary around it. I knew I had to make a calligraphy piece encompassing all of it. (more in alt.)

coming off of an article about french towns tilting less toward fascism if the tour de france comes through, one thing reads especially clear from this: in all human interaction, people want to feel important. sometimes that stems the tide of monsters. other times, monsters use that to play you.
Yesterday Fresh Air did an interview with Robert Draper, who has covered Charlie Kirk. And this section on Draper's relationship with Kirk said a lot to me about modern access journalism, and the soft coverage we've seen in the wake of Kirk's death.

No inktober for the 17th, I was very busy having a migraine and wasn’t up for it. Today’s inktober is a watercolor of the shoe with this little set of glittery watercolors that G picked me up from Temu. It’s my inktober and I’ll watercolor if I want. #inktober #inktober2025

Every time a Democrat gets caught on tape saying like “Some Trump voters are racist” we have a national scandal and JD Vance demands an entirely new kind of apology and meanwhile every Republican group chat is like “Good morning fellow SS members. Who’s ready to respect Hitler today?”

Wearing a mask is a million times more fun than living with long covid, I promise.
I would rather get a daily push notification from whoever it is you think is the most annoying person making you feel the worst about not masking than ever having to deal with long Covid, which I’m still recovering from.

If there are still people in your social circles who derided you for calling these people Nazis when it was already glaringly obvious (decades ago) drop them with prejudice. Especially if you are marginalized in any way.

They are the same people who will give you up to them.

The Veterans Affairs Department press secretary directed me to Doug Collins’s comments that “if veterans want to attempt to change their sex, they can do so on their own dime.”

These trans vets are trying to do that by getting referrals to non-government doctors.

Veterans Affairs doctors banned from writing surgery referrals to private providers for trans vets
“Stripping that basic medical function away is not about cost or bureaucracy, it’s about punishment,” executive director of Minority Veterans of America Lindsay Church told The Advocate.
