I feel like it’s a little bit important to be pedantic about this. Halligan didn’t step down from the US Atty position because she had never stepped up into it. She was not properly appointed. After a series of judicial decisions pointing this out, she has abandoned her charade of occupying the job.

Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

I broke the story yesterday that masked ICE agents (not DOJ) were removing items including a personal computer from the home of Jonathan Ross, the ICE agent who shot Renee Good. I have yet to see a single news outlet cover this or an elected official even acknowledge it.
