I think a lot of “smart” folks have been confused the past few years because they instinctively look for material and rational motivations on the right. But a lot of these folks, like Wolf, RFK, and probably Miller, really are just batshit conspiracy theorists with unhinged psychosexual issues.

It's appalling that Congress has just gradually ceded more and more power, especially regarding war and military force, to a more and more powerful executive. A democratic institution made to slowly and quietly abolish itself. Sickening.
