Ban rule-breaking peers from the House of Lords.
Lords found guilty of serious misconduct – like bullying or lobbying for cash – still get to make our laws. I just signed a petition to kick rule-breaking peers out of the Lords for good. Want to add...

COMMENTARY: Years ago, Sweden made global headlines by sending preparedness leaflets to all its households that have since become a trend across Europe.

But now, the country is ahead of the game once more, this time with a preparedness leaflet specifically for businesses.
Sweden’s still ahead in the preparedness game — and now it means business
In today’s geopolitical reality, informing companies of threats that could harm them and how they can prepare is becoming indispensable.

Write to your MP. If they ignore you at least you tried. But this government has miraculously both got stuff right and simultaneously and spectacularly poked its supporters in the eyes as its tin eared leaders are avoiding what the majority want. If they can’t read the polls they should hear you!
How is it taking them this long to work this out?

Fixing that hole could have cost under £100; the cost of not doing so is limitless. My prang highlights the neoliberal folly of false economies, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

This Letby case alone should cause a review of the role of unchallenged experts in court cases. Having a panel opinion rather than what seems to frequently be axe grinders pedalling their pet, if lucrative theories? Or waggon circles of corporate arse covering…and the law being an ass.

Talking about the magic money tree and that there isn’t much money for doctors that actually do a critical job, literally saving lives is missing a point surely? Ie what is fair pay for 7years training, student debt of c £100k, long stressful hours ? What people pay their cleaner? I think not…
Good riddance to the scab.
Resident doctors who've trained for years & run up huge debts start work earning £17.60 an hour. Meanwhile unelected peers can claim £371/day for attending the Lords

This morning BBC radio 4 are reporting the major overhaul of the Kew Gardens Palm House…without mentioning that air and water heat pump technology will be used. Such a missed opportunity to reinforce a government promoted heat pump roll out…because it’s “controversial” due to “net zero” being also?
