Would you eat chicken washed in chlorine?

Trump is yet again pushing the UK to accept lower food and animal welfare standards in exchange for a tech deal. That means unsafe meat on our shelves and British farmers undercut.

We fought this before and won. Now we need to do it again.

2025 produced 237 new billionaires.

The global billionaire count jumped from 2,682 to 2,919 in just 12 months, many through inheritance, not hard work.

Inequality isn’t accidental, it’s part of a broken system.

Claire’s horse died in terror after fireworks were set off nearby.

That’s why she’s calling for a ban on the public sale of fireworks, not a total ban, but licensed displays only. Safer for animals, wildlife and people living with PTSD.

Do you agree?

Boxing Day hunts could soon be a thing of the past with trail hunting now set to be banned.

Activists warn that foxes are still frequently mauled by dogs during trail hunts, and last season alone, nearly 1,600 incidents were reported across the UK.

This cruelty has gone on for too long.

Millions of homeowners are still paying a medieval-style fee just to live in their own home.

It’s called ground rent. No service. No value. Just money funnelled to wealthy landowners.

The Government promised to cap it, but they could be about to cave under pressure.

‘Tis the season of giving.

It’s time the ultra-rich joined in by paying their fair share through a wealth tax. 🎄

Trail hunting is set to be banned as part of a new animal welfare strategy.

Despite claims that it doesn’t harm animals, evidence suggests foxes are still being chased. Last season alone, nearly 1,600 incidents were reported nationwide, according to the League Against Cruel Sports.

Trump is reportedly pressuring the UK to scrap the Digital Services Tax: a 2% levy on the biggest tech giants.

It raises billions for public services and stops tax dodging. Giving in would mean handing tax breaks to trillion-dollar firms while people struggle.

The Government must hold the line.

Flu cases in hospitals are at the highest level ever for this time of year, and there’s no peak in sight.

With the NHS under huge pressure, what do you think the solution is? Are enough people getting their flu jabs? Should the Government hand out free flu jabs? Let us know what you think.

Lost Evri delivery? It's not just corporate incompetence - it's because of worker exploitation

Evri drivers earn as little as £7 an hour, while Evri rakes in nearly £120m in profit.

When drivers aren’t paid for failed deliveries, they’re pushed to cut corners and it’s customers who pay the price.

This year Nigel Farage’s Reform UK Party became the first to accept untraceable donations through crypto. He recently accepted the biggest donation in UK political history from a cryptocurrency investor of £9 MILLION.

This isn’t about one party...

Have you heard? Thames Water is "deferring" £2.5 million in bonuses to bosses until the new year.

Here's a better idea: FORGET bonuses, focus on fixing leaks and making bills fair.

NHS dentistry remains in crisis. Millions of people still can’t access an NHS dentist, with some patients forced to resort to self-treatment. That’s why today’s announcement matters. 1/3

23,000 lives were lost due to Boris Johnson’s Covid decisions, yet he still gets £115,000 every year for life, funded by the public.

The thousands of families who lost loved ones deserve better. Politicians’ actions should have consequences.

Boris Johnson should lose his entitlement permanently.

Just 0.001% of the world’s population controls x3 as much wealth as the poorest half of humanity.

Such extreme divides are no longer sustainable for societies or ecosystems, experts warn. A new report says: “The tools exist. The challenge is political will.”

Southern Water have apologised and taken responsibility for the devastating pollution on Camber Sands - but the cost of the cleanup is still going to come from customers' bills.

Our bills have been inflated enough already. This money must come straight from profits, bonuses & shareholder dividends.

Madeleine McCann’s parents, the families of Hillsborough victims, and Caroline Flack’s mum know what it is like to be targeted by an intrusive press.

That’s why they wrote to the Prime Minister asking for the second part of the Leveson Inquiry, after it was scrapped in 2018.

A story in six slides. 💰

This time it was just a sting luring MPs to meetings under false pretences… What about next time?

The undercover investigation by Democracy for Sale and @ledbydonkeys.org exposes how easily our system can be manipulated. We cannot let shady lobbying go on like this.

New allegations suggest spending rules may have been broken in Nigel Farage’s Clacton campaign, with police reportedly reviewing documents.

Regardless of party or politician, election spending rules exist to protect our democracy and they must be upheld.
