Because of all the “middle class rich people” who bought heat pumps we now have a burgeoning industry of installers and service agents. And Reeves will put that in jeopardy… for balancing some spreadsheet forecast that seems to bounce up and down in ways the government doesn’t understand?

I get that all vehicles will be and should be taxed in some way(s). But singling out EVs and PHEVs for a pay per mile while not imposing more on the fossil fuel vehicles seems incoherent…

I always liked the suggestion that MPs should wear their sponsors on their jackets like racing drivers.

As I seal up my 1910’s semi I am achieving a very pleasant warmth from a HP but now wondering how I might improve air quality ie pull in more fresh/filtered air and expel the staler/humid air while retaining the heat. Without a full house system that would be to disruptive/ expensive to retrofit?
