This message is for any parent. Get your kid a therapist. Don’t ask why. Just do it. Ideally starting 5th grade. Even if they are the happiest kid on the planet. Even if they tell you everything. They don’t. Please get them a therapist. Their lives are SO MUCH MORE FUCKED than we had it growing up.

A watchdog group has revealed that high-ranking ICE officials knew of a 353% increase in excessive use of force early last year. Officers in these incidents shattered car windows, deployed chemical agents, used extreme physical force to detain people, and killed at least one individual.
