What does it even mean for a senator to say he gets doxed? Your job is not anonymous. Is CNN doxing you with the chyron?
Tillis says he opposes ICE being barred from wearing masks: "I've seen people dox me. I've seen people take pictures and identify law enforcement officers and then put their families at risk. So, I think that's a step too far."

It's true that ICE has an enormous war chest, but that doesn't mean giving ICE more money is meaningless or the right thing to do, and the idea that you vote for it and then argue the Senate can filibuster is pathetic.
Rep. Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (one of 7 Democrats who just voted to fund DHS) defends her stance.

Argues funding for ICE "is not the question." Instead, Senate Democrats have leverage for various demands.

"I think they could negotiate to replace Noem with someone that doesn't skirt the filibuster."

I might be imagining this, but it looks like he picks up a note slid under the door at the end. And I like to further imagine that the note said "FUCK OFF" or something along those lines.
More ICE door-to-door operations are taking place in Blaine, Minnesota, on 1/28/26.

The political theory that rests on 'don't make unenforceable rules' jukes to proposing rules that won't be enforced and calling it a day.
The problem with any "deal" Schumer orchestrates centered around imposition of new "rules" for ICE is that the problem currently isn't the absence of rules (see, U.S. Const), it's the absence of enforcement of said rules.

Has Russia tried retracing its steps? Where is the last place Russia saw its Su-34 fighter bomber jet? When this happens to me, sometimes it helps to stop obsessing about it and suddenly you realize, "oh! THAT'S where I must've left my $50M military hardware." (Also check lost & found.)
Judging by the somber posts of sources linked to Russian military aviation, Russia has lost a Su-34 fighter-bomber jet.

You never hear "____ is a distraction" in reference to things that are actually distractions. Like, Pluribus was a distraction, and a pretty good one too!

To be clear, when ICE agents illegally enter the Ecuadorian Consulate, they instantly endanger Americans all over the globe.

Quite something that a major social media platform doesnt allow reference to, for example, one of the very few pieces of legislation from the US congress this session (Epstein Files Transparency Act). Tough to make a coherent non-corrupt case for that.

"Two-thirds of the film's staff requested not to be credited..."
Amazon’s MGM studios spent tens of millions, but the documentary is projected to make just $1M in its first week.

This comes as a new report from Rolling Stone details serious labor issues and two-thirds of the film’s staff requesting not to be credited at the end of the film. trib.al/Clr03cD

People need to get outside their bubble and fly on planes piloted by people who AREN'T trained in flying planes. You're only getting one side of the experience if you're only on planes with trained pilots.
these people seem like idiots

I was in a Starbucks once when they were running an ad campaign, "It's not coffee, it's Starbucks." And I joked to the barista, "I mean... it IS coffee though." He leaned in and whispered to me, "actually, it's made of people."

For some of us, there's really no place where we can get some truly alone time. And it's really great that the first lady has given us physical locations, movie theaters showing Melania, where anyone who wants to be assured they are alone in a room can go.

Reporter: Will Stephen Miller be apologizing to--

Leavitt: Let me just stop you there. The administration is opposed to any form of moral reflection.
Reporter: Will Stephen Miller be apologizing to the family of Alex Pretti for calling him an assassin?

Leavitt: This incident remains under investigation.

So some thugs gather outside a bank, with their guns drawn, masks on, etc. It's ICE, apparently, but also totally indistinguishable from bank robbers.

Politicians: this is the message you win with. Be leaders.
Voting NO on the DHS funding bill is the bare minimum.

Backing Kristi Noem’s impeachment is the bare minimum.

Holding law-breaking ICE agents legally accountable is the bare minimum.

ICE is beyond reform. Abolish it.

"Obstruction of justice" is the excuse for every act of violence by ICE in an endless stream of them, so it's more than a little rich for Bovino to announce they will obstruct any state police investigation.
January 26, 2026 at 7:29 PM
"I didn't realize that giving money to something would be viewed as supporting that thing."
Tom Suozzi, one of the 7 House Dems who voted for the DHS bill: "I failed to view the DHS funding vote as a referendum on the illegal and immoral conduct of ICE in Minneapolis... I have long been critical of ICE’s unlawful behavior and I must do a better job demonstrating that."
January 26, 2026 at 5:09 PM
Bovino's announcement that they will never release the names of Alex Pretti's killers is an affront to the rule of law. Even if you close your eyes and pretend it was a lawful shooting, it isn't supposed to be up to Bovino to decide.

"Okay boys, we got another one where we need to explain why the victim was at fault. This one's a toughy. Let's brainstorm."
"Well he had a gun... Can't we say he shouldn't have owned a gun?"
"Perfect! Let's go with that."
NRA: "Wait wait. Guys... do we have to go with that one? Guys?"
