Most of the worst trans discourse you find on here is either less bad or entirely absent in the real world outside the internet, and that's because the majority of the worst offenders don't leave their house and/or are essentially closeted beyond pronouns in their bios.

They have to know that releasing the Epstein files redacted like they are is much worse than just not releasing them right? They're just confirming without a reasonable doubt that almost everything in them are things they don't want us to see!

Hard no to this: French publisher Harlequin has told translators that their work will now be done by AI. They can ‘revise’ AI translations at much lower rate. It’s a subsidiary of Harper Collins so treat this as a test for rollout elsewhere

I've become much less diplomatic (as have many of us!) about trans people who are closeted/don't transition in any way speaking over those of us trying to survive in the world while our medical care is legislated away—if you can't understand why that is you're willfully dense.

Cannot underline how important it is for younger (in transition) trans people to be in community with those among us who have been doing this longer—one thing that it teaches you is that we're going to win
I'm so grateful that I have my mental health under control in a way I couldn't have imagined when I started medical transition at the start of Trump admin round one, because if I didn't wow I would really not be able to function right now given you know, everything!
