Wilfried Nancy - Welcome to Tottenham Hotspur.
BREAKING: Celtic has sacked Wilfried Nancy after about a month in charge.

Me waking up everyday thinking about Tottenham Hotspur.
Are you worried things can’t get stupider? I assure you they can and will

There are currently two well run football clubs in England that also have a lot of money (City and Arsenal). Everyone else is just an efficiency machine (Brighton/Brentford) or absolute dog shit, both rich and poor.

Such an opportunity for Spurs if we can get our head out of our collective ass.

Sacking Amorim now is genuinely a sign that the United brass have no idea what they are doing. They got through the hard part and are third in the league on xGD! Why would you sack him now? They are 6th in the table! And they cleared out the squad over the summer for him.

Madness.

May have to start making a thread on which opposition players are out performing our entire midfield.

This week it's Granit Xhaka with 7 progressive passes.

Bentancur (2), Gray (1), Palhinha (1), Odobert (2).

Spurs are only four points off sixth, and have Kulusevski, Solanke, and Xavi Simons to come back into contention. Make the change in the dugout now, spend some proper money in the window, and there's salvation on the other side. All about being bold...

absolutely hilarious xG story going on with Wilfried Nancy at Celtic

Sunderland are one of only 4 teams that have a worse xGD than Spurs this season after 20 matches. I will not be hearing this nonsense that they are, in fact, not bad.
January 4, 2026 at 5:16 PM
Spurs got a bit unlucky today just like we got a bit lucky earlier in the year with some of the results.

Sunderland had the third worst xGD coming into this match and are awful away from home, but we play this match every week, and sometimes you get the breaks and sometimes you don't.

This was the fire Thomas Frank moment for me.

Playing defensively at home against Sunderland after taking a 1 goal lead. Club has plenty of front office and personnel problems beyond the manager, but this is entirely about the manager having a loser mentality. Good luck in your future endeavors.

Not only are Sunderland bad, but the way we played in the first half (pretty okay!) makes it even worse.

Bournemouth on Wednesday is going to be fun.

Again, we gave up 2 shots, none on target, for 0.07 xGA in the first half and Frank rolls out his shit for the second half.

Just incredibly cowardly tactics from Frank once again.

Taps the sign until it breaks.
When people talk about Brentford's high number of goals scored last season, it was from situations like this rather than dominating an opponent.

The risk with defending a narrow lead is that cock ups can be very costly.

Frustrating how much Frank has put the handbrake on when we only allowed 2 shots and 0.07 in the first half.

Not expecting it for a full 90, but would be great if we waited a bit before going into our shell completely.

Frank saw the attacking intent in the first half and was like that’ll be enough of that shit lads

Sunderland are very bad despite their position in the table, but it’s incredibly frustrating to see an obviously more attacking lineup look so much better, yet Frank still defaults the other way.

Just play more attackers, Frank!
