The aging pedophile who wants to be a king has kidnapped the leader of a sovereign nation without congressional approval.

If the United States had an opposition party, they would treat this as an illegitimate act and start impeachment proceedings immediately.

Truth. I've started giving copies of OUT OF ALCATRAZ as a gift to people who know that I've gotten back into comics the last few years but aren't quite sure why (since they know I don't do superhero stuff).

Deeply touched by reviews like this. That our audacious choice to make a Backwards Hobtown was rewarded by readers, noticed and understood by the likes of The New York Times, or that our readership is tolerant of our mysterious and ever-shifting release dates.

Thank you for coming back to Hobtown!

I got vol. 3 of @hobtown.bsky.social’s HOBTOWN MYSTERY STORIES for Christmas, and … it’s kind of a masterpiece? Has an incredible formalist trick to it that I dare not spoil — worth experiencing blind for yourself — but which works phenomenally well.
Hello! Today I wrote about one of my very favorite series, Kris Bertin and Alexander Forbes’ “Hobtown Mystery Stories,” a perfect soup of detective fiction, weird horror, and small-town social realism. The new one is out now.

A bit of clarity here, from the article itself: the instructor was a graduate TA, not a full professor; it was a 650-word response that was worth 3% of her grade, getting a 0 on it should not have been failing for the course. These points are important to see how politically motivated this was.

In the past week, I've seen stories of AI:
- being used by middle schoolers to make porn of other students
- calling innocent people sex offenders
- shutting down highways with busted-ass self-driving cars
- emitting more CO2 than New York City

What the fuck are we even doing?
New from me: The storied fiddler Ashley MacIsaac wanted to play a show at a Nova Scotia First Nation. It got cancelled because Google's AI search summary incorrectly called him a sex offender. Now he's worried for his safety www.theglobeandmail.com/culture/arti...
