Loved the Hobtown books so much. The Hanging was a blind buy for me based on a shop recommendation, I thought it was great!

Hobtown-serien beskrives ofte som Twin Peaks møter Hardy-guttene og Frøken detektiv, og det er ikke vanskelig å forstå hvorfor, skriver Aksel Kielland.

Recently got turned onto Hobtown Mystery Stories after reading Brubaker, Martin & Vicente's "Friday", and folks, halfway through devouring the first mystery I immediately ordered the second two. Just incredibly weird, delightful stuff. Described it to a friend as Lynch meets Gorey meets Hardy Boys.

don't forget they were trying to sell you NFTs on latenight talk shows, they were asking you to join the Metaverse without any legs, they were claiming you could raise your family up out of poverty on gambling apps.

now it's 'writing' 200 books a year - the same shitshake with a new flimsy straw.

Kris Bertin, Alexander Forbes, HOBTOWN VOL 2: THE CURSED HERMIT. Another fantastically creepy case for the Jr Detective Club, who inhabit a deeply well-imagined environment, both physically and historically. Great cast, great story. I can not WAIT to use "You're a couple of shut ups!"

Folks, as of right now the stunningly talented artist Frazier Irving is homeless and needs your help. He hasn’t got a fundraising page because he doesn’t want charity but he is selling pages. Please give his shop a look and buy something that appeals if you can.

#TheUninvited2 will take place in the mid-90s, approx. a decade after the events of the first game. We're not gonna go overboard with the "Get it! It's the 90s" references, but for some rooms, like this kid's bedroom, we made an exception and went full 90s 📼〰️🪀📔🦄➿

You like two-fisted noir action with P.I.s, femme fatales, and unspeakable evils? You’ll love PERIL OF THE BRUTAL DARK.

Today is your last chance to preorder this gem from @christophcondon.bsky.social and @thatjacobphillips.bsky.social, the team behind the excellent THAT TEXAS BLOOD!
