We just blew out the Republicans in an election, theres no reason for the Dems to cave in to Republicans over a promise they will surely break.
Pay attention to what Democratic candidates are saying right now. Find and support the fighters. Having a spine must be a litmus test issue in 2026 and beyond.

Its a real testament to how abysmal of a job Trump and the Republicans are doing with how his approval keeps going down just out of people's every days lives getting worse with zero help from the largest media companies actually conveying what's happening.
Everyone knows corporate media is a joke, but completely ignoring the President posting a video of himself literally shitting all over Americans is a shocking new low.

The life expectancy difference between those in blue vs red states haunts me in a similar way. The amount of genuine harm Republicans cause to society is understated and the "both sides bad" types are just as bad.
I read a study that COVID collectively dropped our average IQ by 5 to 8 points & I think about that a lot.
Support for vaccinating kids against infectious diseases dropped from 81% in 1991 to 51% last year

Traveling this week & my biggest takeaway is that the vibes across America are rancid. The enshittification has reached a tipping point, and Trump raising the price on literally everything is making it so much worse. There's no sane way to pretend things are good in this country.
