The funniest shit is that I feel like the huge turnout downtown is almost because of the cold not in spite of it. The fact that it’s -10 degrees out led to just more defiance, like thousands out there saying, it isn’t even that bad out.

The Hmong are Minnesotans. Possibly the most fun I’ve ever had at a wedding reception was a Hmong-Jewish shindig in Frogtown with a massive language barrier. Thankfully, cases of beer and bottles of Jameson are universal.
