Belle. Dyslexic af,❤️ 90s music and fashion.
Finished Astro’s Playroom last night. The final boss is tough for me, though not difficult in the overall sense. It's an old school, memorize the attack pattern after losing a few times and then just execute all the counters on, like, your 10th try.

But, um, I'm not good at consistency.

So, I went to play Final Fantasy VII Rebirth today with the goal of finishing it, and then I immediately get caught up with a fucking side quest.

I love side quests. But FFVII Rebirth has a lot of them, and most of them are just repeats of another one.

A few weeks ago I saw a commercial for like genAI or sports betting or something and it was like “don’t bet against the underdog” and one of the examples they depicted was the Spartans at Thermopylae.

And like… my brother in Zeus, they lost. The were the underdogs and they FAMOUSLY lost.

Forgive me, but this is one of the stupidest Star Wars things I’ve read.

Jabba probably regularly sends people to the Sarlacc pit and Luck would know that because he fucking grew up there.

It’s a heist. You put all your characters in position and then a chain of events goes off.
What Was Luke's Plan in 'Return of the Jedi'?
This was a piece that published on February 28, 2018 when I worked at Uproxx. I would just link to it, but Uproxx has removed its archives before 2022, so this piece has been lost to the internet. But...

Ideally, the sun should only set between 5:30 and 7:30. Any earlier, and it's like “where did the day go?” Any later and it’s like “um, when do I sleep?”

Thank the gods, it's going to be properly cold this upcoming week.

One of the weirder things about being old now is that sometimes, someone says "oh wow, I loved that game/show/whatever when I was 13! It was such a big part of my childhood!"

And I too, loved that thing a lot. But I was 23.

Here's an unsold con sketch that didn't make the flash sale the other day, maybe I'll include it in the next one.

While I appreciate the classic rock this morning, usually it’s mariachi or reggaeton, you are still blasting it too fucking loud. Why can I make out lyrics when my window is closed and the source of the sound is across the parking lot and on the other side of a brick wall?

I recently saw Hogan’s Alley #23 for sale on eBay. Its price got my attention: $100.99! (In the seller’s defense, it DOES come with a bag and a board.) Normally I’d say it’s a bargain but not this time. But you can get a copy from us for the much lower price of $8 at www.hoganmag.com/stores/order...

I’m so sad and angry. Everywhere I go, everything I see, I just see things my mom would have loved.

Sabrina Carpenter sang “Islands in the Stream" with Kermit and Miss Piggy and my mom loved by the Bee Gees (who wrote the song) and The Muppets.

If only she’d let me take her to the hospital!

I made a little comic celebrating something nice in the world that my family loves. It can also serve as a recommendation for those of you who are (or are considering becoming) parents. Finding joy where you can is a survival skill in bizarre and awful times. I ‘ll fix the typos (I just noticed!)

LOL, we all voted in Prop 50 because of Texas gerrymandering and it looks like the gerrymandering might not even work.

I don’t regret my vote, I’m just laughing at the Texas GOP.

This curler from Italy is actually from the city where they're playing. Her whole family is there and she lives an hour away. Love that for her. It would be like if I went to the Olympics and they were in Oakland.
