THE ONLY VOICE YOU HAVE IS MONEY!!!!

Do people really not fucking see how bleak that is? That we are literally voiceless except for our money!!???

Just a world of mute people who can only utilize language at the rate of one word per dollar.

Fuck that world and fuck that assholes who promote it.

THE ONLY WAY TO AFFECT CHANGE IS TO SPEND MONEY ON THOSE COMPANIES WITH THE BEST PR! THE ONES WHO'VE CONVINCED US THEY'RE THE GOOD GUYS!

DON'T STOP SPENDING MONEY! JUST SPEND IT THE RIGHT WAY! WE SWEAR THERE'S A RIGHT WAY!!!!!

Don't call your rep! Don't connect with other humans to achieve your goals! You can be the best and most moral person ever by simply not watching a TV show! Don't read a book!

Ah, but don't stop spending money, simply spend on people who are so unpopular, their bad deeds have gone unnoticed.

Yes, as Californian, very much yes.

You know how humans are, we'll establish a pattern after one data point for no reason other than we feel like it.

My guess is that because California has San Francisco and New Mexico has Santa Fe later settlements followed the pattern of the famous large city nearby.

As someone who is typically all for lesbian romance, I’d like this a lot more if it was an original story. But it’s not, so I’m doomed to evaluate it against other things I like better.

That said, I think the movie works on its own. If you don’t care for any previous version of this story, it won’t let you down when it changes things. Wicked 2 is a poor adaptation of the book Wicked, and an even poorer adaptation any prior Oz story.

But it’s fine musical theater.

Here’s the thing that gets me: the point of the book is to take The Wicked Witch of the West, a simple one note antagonist from a children's book, and turn her into a complex and nuanced character.

So, naturally, the antagonist for the movie, Madam Morrible, is a simple one note character.

Kim likes the book Wicked.
Her mom likes the original MGM movie.
I’m a fan of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

None of us had seen the broadway play or heard the original cast album.

Movie not for us, lol
