Just scored two lower level tickets for $35 (total) and a $5 Spot Hero reservation to Friday night’s DePaul/Northwestern men’s hoops. There’s a nifty Mexican place a few blocks away that we frequent. Gonna be a solid date night!

Mail call - a gently used copy at a very nice price.

What’s not very nice, however, is the flippin’ PRICE TAG the second-hand vendor affixed to the back. 😡

For #MuppetMonday, let's have some monster mash (ups)! #1: a Muppet version of the poster for GODZILLA (1956) featuring Gonzo, Camilla and Lenny the Lizard!

The original was drawn in gray tones with mixed media on bristol board. This version features new, digital colors.

Pretty sure if I could get Action Comics 1 for $1800, I’d jump right now.

Help me understand.

So we had 2-4” across our driveway. Got over to my mom’s, about two miles east of here and it was a solid 4” (and I do mean solid; heavy snow w/ 1/2” of slush as a base). Then got to my in-laws, another mile east, and they had friggin’ 6-7”.

I have easily moved into the Son-in-Law #1 position. 🤓

I’ve been reading Robert Jay Lifton’s The Nazi Doctors. In the chapter on Josef Mengele, Dina Babbitt (via pseudonym) is quoted several times.

Neal Adams made a biographical comic of her life; it’s posted on the blog below.

An amazing woman with an amazing story. 👇🏼
