As fan of the original Oz books, I knew Wicked 2 wasn’t for me but my Mother in Law wanted to see it and that’s what I do every Friday after Thanksgiving: take her to see a movie she wants to see. But, um, no one in our party (me, Kim, her mom) was going to like it.

Yesterday, in response to the over-asked question "what are you thankful for?" My SIL's bf said "I'm thankful no one died this year." SIL was mortified and quietly reminded him about my mom, but I thought it was funny (both the answer and her reaction). Nice reminder that we're all individuals.
