The whole point of fanart, fanfics, fanworks, is to make it yourself, as a fan, out of love, passion, spite, horniness—whatever drives and inspires you, as a human, to create. GenAI has no place in fandom, and it's gross and disingenuous to include the usage of it, especially without disclosure,

Dad’s books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending it’s their own fault. So I hope Kemi’s taking notes as well as reading the jokes.

My ‘favourite’ genre on the internet: people who usually complain about media literacy jumping in to mock art and wildly missing the point of it - especially if they’re not even interested/a fan, they just want to jump on the bandwagon. ‘Don’t like don’t read’ applies to so many things.
