Feeling a bit desperate. Our class holiday wishlist hasn’t been touched nd we’re running out of time.
Our class would be so grateful for any help if you’re able!

Help out an amazing BlueSky teacher with some physical computing and engineering supplies:
Friends, I'm trying to purchase some Arduino kits for my engineering classes. If you're able to either purchase or share, I'd be so appreciative!

Hey, did you know that you can cough so hard that you pull a muscle in your side? On a related note, I am very over having this cold.

It’s Friday! Hurrah!

The weather is grey and damp so this week the theme is…hot.

So let’s see those flames

As usual I’ll repost the lot and if you like something, share it!

Well, maybe I won't restart my Disney+ subscription just yet. I guess they just really want 6 second videos of Rule 34 versions of all the Disney characters live hosted on their own platform? Cut out the middleman, as it were? Not sure this is going to fit their family friendly image...
Bob Iger says Disney+ will soon have AI-generated short form content from users

As of this morning, Starbucks workers across the country are officially ON STRIKE. And we're prepared for this to become the biggest and longest ULP strike in Starbucks history.

Say #NoContractNoCoffee with us: DON'T BUY STARBUCKS for the duration of our open-ended ULP strike! $SBUX

Seth Moulton went on MSNBC and straight up said "the president is a pedophile" and refused to walk it back even after the hosts kept trying to equivocate.

House Dems don't give a *fuuuck.*

Pretty much all affordability discourse could benefit from just posting this chart.

If you're in the better off America, all the luxury goods you want in excess are for the most part much cheaper. If you're in the poorer America, most of the shit you need to live/grow is more expensive.

A rare interview with the creators of the always-funny, always-brilliant, and *usually*-sexy—or occasionally anti-sexy—OGLAF!

Cooper has kept a low profile over the years, but is legitimately one of the very best artists in comics today. Read OGLAF if you're old enough to drive!
Talking Oglaf with Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne: 'We'd stay up all night drawing stuff to make each other laugh' - The Comics Journal
Other than some time off every year for Christmas, Trudy Cooper and Doug Bayne have delivered a new Oglaf comic, skewering fantasy tropes with absolutely not safe for work humor, every week since 2008...

Just saw a Fox News chyron in the airport:
“Democrats were winning - why did they stop?”
Yeah, maybe the only time I’ve ever had the same thought as Fox News.

Deleted a post with another shitty t-shirt on it because I couldn’t bear to see it on my timeline. After four great days at a convention, re-entering the rest of the world kinda sucks. Like, a lot. I can barely get my head around everything that’s gone wrong since Wednesday.

Disgusted by my alma mater. All donations stop now, and I emailed to tell them that.
BREAKING: Cornell caved.

Another way I can tell I’m getting old: instead of going out drinking with my battlegroup after the GN briefing, I’m straight back to my room to do back yoga so I can actually move tomorrow.

There’s some wanker in a “Team Charlie - you can’t silence us all” t-shirt near me in the TSA line, and I’m not going to start something (because I want to make my flight), but fuck that guy.

Flying to Atlanta for the GW Grand Narrative today. I guess we’ll see if I’m still flying back on Monday or not.
(AP) - Airports in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago along with hubs across the U.S. are among the 40 that will see flights cut starting Friday due to the government shutdown, according to a list distributed to the airlines and obtained by The Associated Press.

This needs more attention: Zohran SPLIT the straights with Cuomo. ALL of his margin was from LGBTQ+ voters. Every Dem who ever said “we should abandon the transes” needs this shoved down their fucking throat with a ramrod.

Specifically, the fear of God comes from GOP uncertainty with rejiggering maps after Virginia turned into practically a supermajority state overnight. You might redistrict yourself right out of a job
really important element of this basically total victory is that it puts the fear of god in republican incumbents and may bring the redistricting push to a total halt
