Shockingly poor headline.

The scandal of the Cass Report is that the only harm was the speculation that an affirmed trans child might develop into a healthy trans adult.

These medications are safe in all other patients because we know there are no physical ill effects. Being trans at all is what they see as harm.

The key paradox here is that anti transgender groups believe that trans identity is a contagious fad.

That trans identity is both insubstantial, and also that the danger of trans medicine such as PBs is that it can make that identity permanent. They don't believe PBs make cis kids trans because...
This, by itself, is proof that Wes Streeting and this 🇬🇧 Labour government are continuing an anti trans culture war.

This cannot be about safety because all those other groups taking puberty blockers are safe taking them (and don’t “become trans” or whatever silly claim is made).

BlueSky is trying to monetize so let's show them some numbers:

Reskeet this if you refuse to pay for BlueSky+ until trust & safety decides to prioritize marginalized users.

That's $96 / year of lost revenue for each reskeet...

Jeremy Clarkson, who owes his fame & fortune in large part to the BBC, sneers at the brilliant @vicderbyshire.bsky.social for being ‘classic BBC’ when she uses *his own words* to describe his position.
“So it’s not about you, it’s not about your farm and the fact you bought a farm to avoid inheritance tax?”

@vicderbyshire.bsky.social speaks to Jeremy Clarkson at the farmers’ protest in Westminster where thousands of farmers are protesting the government’s inheritance tax plans.

The protestors want to call it "the tractor tax" because calling it "the inheritance tax protest" would turn off public opinion.

The tractors coming into London today, in fact, pay no road tax, no congestion charge, and no ULEZ.

Exempt from all.

Its why we're imploring you that if you were thinking of getting anything from us, now is the time.

Block.

This is re: my suggest that we call posts here... tweets. Same as one tends to call snot-rags "Kleenex" and resealable plastic bags "Ziplock." Though I don't feel any particular need to stick it to Elon Musk. He's doing a fine job of mangling his 44B impulse buy without any help from anyone else.
This is my favorite solution because making a brand name generic can cost a company their trademark. Just by calling them tweets, we can further devalue the “town square” Musk spent $44B on.
