Anarchists bombed businesses and anti-immigration politicians, assassinated royals, prime ministers and presidents, all the things today's would-be revolutionaries assure us is the only way to change things. And yet the political outcome of all that violence amounted to precisely jack and shit.
The obvious counterexample is the political violence waged by anarchists in the late 19th/early 20th century across Europe and the US. Arguably the most successful campaign of assassinations in history, hardly remembered at all today because it achieved precisely zero of its political goals.

There’s a type of person who correctly perceives mass mobilization as a threat to the power they wield over the collection of thralls they’ve spent the last however many years brow beating into submission, and I think one of the errors of ‘Woke 1’ was being far too nice to these people.
