If @Harvard University is serious about severing ties with late serial pedophile Jeffrey Epstein once and for all, it would cut ties with this Epstein enabler. Please share if you agree! share.weareultraviolet.org/s/YQZw1qEk
The public knows Alan Dershowitz is a dirtbag. Harvard keeps inviting him.

All of which should undergo the appropriate vetting in mine & many other peoples opinion -as we did!
A select few do I understand (although exactly who is not officially disclosed).
However, the current system, based on historic practice, isn't fit for purpose.
As the current news story illustrates.

I said 'many politicians' do Vetting, you said 'no politician gets vetted', I wonder if we could agree on 'some'?
I was thinking of certain roles that do require it, such as Int & Sec Committee (which the IfG report notes) as well as some others.

Regardless, I agree the process needs improvement.

I can't add a comment Arthur -hence this rude introduction for which I apologise.
Was your helpful piece written based off your own experience, as there have been updates since I believe?
E.G., many politicians do get SC/DV vetted (role dependant) & there is a Security Service check element in SC/DV
A fair amount of nonsense has been written and said about the "security vetting" process for Mandelson's appointment. I wrote about what "Developed Vetting" really involves and why it's perfectly possible that it found nothing useful about Mandelson.

Hillary was right - they ARE deplorables.
They know this to be true. In Trump they see something of themselves.
A racist, a liar, a criminal, a sex offender, a thief, a misogynist, a braggart, a coward, a conman, a grifter and an adulterer.
Trump is all things to all bad people. He is one of them.

1) - hard disagree. My Sister was an talented amateur figure ice skater. She trained very hard, was very fit & it took a lot of skill and effort. And the risk of injury was very high.

However, if you had said the same about the dudes that go down an ice track on a tea tray (Luge) - possible agree.

We all know big corporations have too much influence in Washington. I've never taken a dime of corporate PAC money because Arizonans need to know their elected leaders are working for them. We need to put people first and get corporate money out of politics.

I (and others) have been saying that the Strategy & Comms from No.10 has been dire.
So I see these two departures as very positive.

We have a fresh start and the possibility of positive change.

Of course though - if things don't change then we will know where the problem lays & will need to act.

Chris Mason is a c**t

A fresh start is welcomed - onwards and upwards!
Just in from BBC News:
Chris Mason: Starmer's predicament is dire and now he faces future without top aides
Summary: Sir Keir Starmer's administration appears rudderless after the loss of two key aides, writes...

Agree or disagree?

A fresh start hopefully and some new faces and strategy.
