We live in an age where one can easily live animate the skeleton of a very realistic model, entirely for the purposes of putting it to music for a dumb joke. 10/10, I love this <3

Also, warmer color temperatures are better for reducing light pollution and reducing impacts to humans and animals <3

Aim for 2700k!
Lots of folks captioning aurora photos like "for a few minutes we didn't think about politics"

guess I'm built different, every time I'm out trying to see night sky stuff I frequently think about how much light pollution is entirely preventable with just a tiny bit of regulation

Remember: The richest 1% evade over $160 billion in taxes every year.

That amount would fund SNAP for a year with money to spare.

Ask yourself who the real freeloaders are.

So what can you do? 🤔

1. Continue pressuring your lawmakers, let them know how unpopular and dangerous censorship and surveillance bills are.

2. Spread the word! Many people have no idea the internet they know and love is under threat.

There is no consensus that age-gating = safety.

Online ID checks
- Require disreputable companies to collect intimate data on us, leading to security threats.
- Limit our ability to freely access information and connect with people online.

BUT the threat of Bad Internet Bills still looms as the House considers age verification in new kids safety package...

Ventricular fibrillation is a condition where the heart stops pumping blood. It is 100% fatal within minutes without treatment. It is not something that “flares up.”

I thought the earlier news from A&M was bad, but this is incredibly bleak. It’s close to the point of not having a functional university.

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

I will never understand the entitlement that some people feel. I've never worked a typical service job, but I know to treat everyone with respect. It's not hard.

But yeah, baristas need and deserve a union, same with Amazon workers and so many other service workers.
Once, when I was a barista out of high school, someone ordered an “extra hot” latte, and when I told her the highest I could go she went off on me for 10 mins. When eventually I made it as hot as I could without getting fired, she tried to pour it on my head.

Give them a fair contract, you cowards.
