While I am ranting the whole point of pointing out weird things in old shows for me is seeing points of social conditioning. That's why I go so hard on Urkel. He was a character that did a lot of incel level shit before that term was coined.
I say this because when I post about 90's shows there's always 1 comment about some kind of continuation whether it's a comic or a reboot and the reason I make posts about these shows is that tons of people ingested the media and grew up without really reflecting on it and there's fucked up shit

45 and yeah. I would feel weird and gross dating someone who can't remember hugging goodbye at the airport gate then watching the plane fly away.
the thing that always baffles me about when ppl start quibbling over age-of-consent or whatever is that as a 41 year old most 25 year old's look like teenagers to me. so even that seems gross.
i don't understand why anyone in middle-age would think 'sure they are 18 so its fine' let alone 15. 🤷♀️
