Just posting this again because I can: a new humanity, forged in the crucible of intergalactic war has spread throughout the galaxy; among them are millions of Muslims who must return to Earth for Hajj. Meet the crew: 🧵
Gay men's culture is heavily informed by and evolved from straight culture and, by extension, its most toxic aspects. The pointless obsession with youth, the weird need to make *everything* a power struggle, the "women are inferior" nonsense.

I see the jokes about that last calling a mosque an “Islamic church” but like… old Palestinian churches had prayer niches built into them facing Mecca. You are not prepared for how flimsy the borders around these faiths are in our folk traditions. It used to freak visitors TF out, it’s so funny.

"I didn't want to say immediately it was me," fifteen-year-old Pedro Elias Garzon Delvaux said. "With this photo there is a mystery, so you have to make it last."

Cheers sequel show but it’s a gay bar now. Same theme but sung by Lady GaGa. No changes to the set but some flags here and there. Woody Harrelson is still, inexplicably, one of the bar tenders.

We’ve been accepting as “cost of doing business” since at least the fucking Industrial Revolution. “I, an individual who has every advantage and a lot of money DEMAND, as concession that hundreds of thousands have far less and I find this reasonable because money has made me clinically insane.”

I love the kayfabe pantomime that is most U.S. business journalism. You're basically writing safe fan fiction for MBA bros with all the rough edges sanded off so ownership and nobody in power gets upset

You're a business journalist and you didn't think to ask Sinclair Broadcasting any questions about whether its sagging revenues had anything to do with a historically clumsy attempt to censor a comedian on behalf of our dim president?

Maybe if people think the Democratic Party is "weak" it is not because they think that Democrats "care about other people" but that they "fold every single time."
This shit is why people don’t trust the Democratic Party.

Dems just swept elections, yet they’re giving-in to Republicans.
Dems are weak so Repubs play w/them.

Legislative and economic interventionism are both worse than military intervention because you need on convince a small section of the population to enact something and with no soldiers on the streets people can’t see the obvious taking of their agency.
