The way people treat sobriety is unreal. "When you're sober, you won't fuck up anymore, and people will love you more!" Well, I just burned an oven mitt and failed to connect with another human being, so maybe stop lying to addicts like that?

I shouldn’t be surprised as a seasonal hire that my hours evaporated entirely after January 1 but after all the working hard to actually learn the job - no single aspect of retail is difficult per se it’s doing ALL of those moment to moment with equal skill - is pretty demoralizing.
