Apparently the latest pushed update to my system errors once a month & I wake up at 3am with bees underneath my skin & in my brain. I am unable to fall back asleep until I've done my entire daily routine before the time I'd normally wake.
I'm hoping for a patch soon. This is a bug. The bug is bees.

Apparently the latest pushed update to my system errors once a month & I wake up at 3am with bees underneath my skin & in my brain. I am unable to fall back asleep until I've done my entire daily routine before the time I'd normally wake.

We only present a project for crowdfunding when the game design/text is 95% complete and we don't like to introduce roadblocks that will impede our ability to deliver as quickly as we can while maintaining our high standard of quality. This is the best way we've found to also offer stretch goals.
I REALLY like this policy, from the latest @evilhat.bsky.social Blades '68 update:

After taking the weekend off from social media, muting a bunch of words to literally save my mental health, and physically recovering... I'm starting to feel a little better. I'm also assessing whether or not a return to fiction writing would be helpful to purge hopelessness.
I almost went back to bed today.
The world has been feeling super gross lately & its really getting to my mental health. I'm having to be a lot more careful with social media so I don't stumble into triggers. That & a migraine hangover has me super sensitive.
But I'm up.

If you're an RPG creator, think about the ways you name your files when you put them up for download. Put the full name of your game into the file name, not an acronym. Remove the cruft of iteration—don't make me download a character sheet called "char sheet 2 (final).pdf"
