This is a genuinely insane position from someone who should know better. It’s about wielding and building online clout and completely corrosive to the actual practice of resistance, organizing, or protest, which involves, yes, signing up for things and not being anonymous.

The fascist turn in this country doesn’t purely come from MAGA. It’s in the blue cities that purge the homeless. It’s in TERF politics. It’s in the belief in a “strong border” just with slightly more due process. It’s the disdain for red states full of disenfranchised people.
