Bay Area folks, ICE is invading, agents are already staging from Coast Guard Island off Alameda. @bayresistance.bsky.social and partner orgs are activating rapid response networks and there are lots of ways to get involved and help.

Reskeeting this out of its context, but I feel like it's a truth regardless. I was about to say "a timeless truth", but no, more like a truth that dates back to 2007 or so.
Basically what I’m saying is that social media is a plague designed specifically to draw out and manipulate the worst impulses in humans.

Zork 1, I guess? By which I mean the commercial version sold in 1980, where a chunk was carved off the Zork of the late 1970s and stuffed into a size the microcomputers of the day could handle. I haven't actually played mainframe Zork for more than a few minutes (or Colossal Cave Adventure, either).
Maniac Mansion, where getting captured and put in the dungeon basically right at the start of the game scared me enough that to this day I have never finished it. (Barely even started it, really. The UI was revolutionary for the time, but kind of awkward to use nowadays.)
