As I'm currently working my way through 8's stories, my companion introduction was The Red Lady by @johndorney.bsky.social. Genuinely terrifying in places, this story is an easy 5/5 for me. Helen makes an excellent first impression here - there's definitely potential for her to become a favourite
This month's story challenge for January:
A companion's first story

Funnily enough only listened to Storm Warning a few days ago!

Got the Chimes of Midnight novelisation for Christmas, and after finishing it it put me in the mood to finally buckle down and properly listen to all the early McGann/Fisher stuff

What a good idea. As it’s McGannuary I had to pick the first 8th Doctor audio story and Sam Jones’ first adventure as a companion - Bounty, by Peter Anghelides. It’s the kind of “test drive” adventure now common in the C21 series showing Dr8 as a frantic improviser. And McGann sounds so young!

Sad news: Gregory de Polnay, Dixon of Dock Green regular and the incomparable D84 in Doctor Who’s Robots of Death has died aged 82. He was a lovely man and an excellent actor and renowned drama teacher.

My Traitors reaction - I hope this makes the behaviour of the Traitors (and Faithfuls) harder to read, given everyone inside knows the format. Bet they will reveal all to the audience next week.
Great to have it back, and the roundtables should be extra interesting...

Just watched the new Knives Out and I think it's really important you know that the scene in the Seminary's Gym is filmed in the same place Rick Astley filmed the music video for Never Gonna Give You Up.

I saw the window tracery and immediately made my friends pause the film so I could tell them.
