Waiting for a taxi to the airport now. We should actually be in Stockholm now but our flight was cancelled, so we're a few hours delayed.

My favourite sitcom of them all.
#OnThisDay 1990 : The first episode of One Foot In The Grave was broadcast on BBC1. Richard Wilson as Victor Meldrew and Annette Crosbie playing the wife took the lead roles which saw six series between 1990 to 2000.

Wondering what this whole “six-seven” craze is about…? Just ask yourself this:

What’s six times seven…?

More interesting insights from Frazer this morning. Of course an organisation like The Federation would outsource their prisoner transportation to the very cheapest option!

When I worked in public libraries the amount of parents who asked me "What should my children be reading?" always surprised me.
I surprised them more by replying "Whatever they want." The more you tell children what to read, the more they push against it.
In this Year of Reading, a gentle reminder:
The best way to get your kids reading is to let them see *you* reading. The way to *stop* your kids reading is to criticize their choices, or to make reading a competition, or a punishment, or a race, or a learning tool. Let it be fun. Let them read.
