My village last night. It's the 1st time they've decided to try to rival Göreme as a nye destination & I think they did a cute job. There was a Xmas (sorry 'nye') market & a live band & it was super family friendly & relaxed.

Started a re-read of Mrs McGinty's Dead at 4am and it's just such a delight.
(Also one of those Christies where I haven't yet remembered whodidit and can just enjoy the glory of Poirot in a terrible B&B)

Popped two slices of bread in the toaster in and then poured boiling water onto the plate to warm it all ready.
Did something else until the toast popped.
Buttered toast.
Dropped into plate.
Realised I haven't tipped the hot water out.
